I have had a Class II wildlife licence for 25 years and I have both; Caracals & Servals, and currently I own a 7 year old Serval Cat and in no case is it “WILD” or “DANGEROUS”. She comes from 12++ generations raised and born in human care and there is NO way that my “EXOTIC” ~ NOT ~ “WILD”, but my EXOTIC pet Serval Cat can survive ONE day in the wild. People are confused with the terms “WILD & EXTIC”, it`s like comparing apples to oranges. WILD animals were born in nature and I did, because you would never take ANY animal out of nature, not even a bird, an ant, etc. If they were born in the wild, they must stay there – IN THE WILD. Well, exotic animals like my cat serval were NOT born in the wild and have never been in the wild, meaning they could NOT survive without human care. My serval comes from 12++ generations raised and born in human care. You can do anything in the country or whatever you want, but in no way does it pose a danger to anyone and here in Florida we have very strict rules and laws to follow and, for my part, I agree with the rules and regulations because not everyone takes care of their animals as they should.
