A list of drone regulations and links for people flying drones in Colorado. The U.S. Forest Service wants to remind drone pilots that flying drones in or near wildfires without authorization could result in injury or death to firefighters and affect their ability to protect lives, property, and natural cultural resources. Individuals and organizations that pilot UAS on national forest lands must follow FAA guidelines. It stipulates that a UAS cannot disturb a manned aircraft, can be flown in the sight of the operator and can only be operated for leisure or leisure purposes.
