The agreement complements the College`s current policies and procedures, fosters a consistent understanding between students and faculty of what is expected of each, and enhances the student`s learning experience. They decide how to interview based on the entire application, and they look at the BMAT in conjunction with your GCSE scores, meaning excellent GCSEs can compensate for a weaker BMAT score. They don`t use a specific threshold, unlike Imperial, which shows their holistic approach to your application.

They also take into account the BMAT score, which specifically means that a strong essay score can compensate for a lower score in the other two sections. Applicants should carefully check whether they meet the minimum academic standard before submitting an application. Entry requirements for medical studies may differ from those of other undergraduate courses at UCL.
